Among the various technologies supporting 10G Ethernet, 10GBASE-T has become the choice of most people. In new 10GBASE-T installations, most users prefer unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper cabling solutions, but more and more users are opting for shielded copper solutions. With the passage of the IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T standard, there is renewed interest in the relative merits of unshielded and shielded cabling systems. What Are STP and UTP
